It can get down to less than 10 ft. As its full GPS/PDA it is not
waterproof so using on a bike could be risky. I should probably update
my maps but they are expensive.
If I were buying again I would check the unit first in bright sunlight
and check battery life. The other thing it does that I do not like is
it pops up an enlarged window before the turn but it comes up too soon
and covers up the streets before the turn. I would like to delay that
screen and be able to control its position but I can not. Also I use it
with an FM transmitter and play through the car stereo and that helps on
voice quality.
