If it was a scratch, it would be fine, but you have quite a damage
there!
my RM125 (1994 model) has a deep scratch on the cylinder. It runs just
fine like that, I would never win the national MX series with that
engine, but it is enough to have lots of fun on tracks and trails.
A mechanic I know said that two part epoxy weld holds for a few hours,
but I never tried...
