Default "First Telescopic fork" -- rare Danish bike

Somehow I managed to miss the existance of the Danish "Nimbus" bike,
built from 1934 to 1959. Low-power four-cylinder 750cc, used mainly
by military and post office. I stumbled on a website (not easy to
navigate, the links are faint at the bottom):

There's one with a chair gets down to the town where my in-laws have an
apartment near Malaga every year.

The owner rides it down from Denmark.

Lovely looking thing. Watching the valvegear is mesmerising.

Fellow I work / ride with, surname Hansen, tells me his dad
used to ride a Nimbus in DK. I'll see if I can get some
pictures.

Bike magazine did a nice feature on them, back in the 1970s.

I saw one at Membury services a couple of years ago. Admittedly, it was on
a trailer.
