Default Hypermotorad Test ride

Hi Guy's,
I thought I would share my thought's with the Sleeping Ghost's of this News
Group about the Hyperbike.
My last Ducati test ride was the 1098S and the Multistrada some time ago,
perhaps over 6 months I think.

The 1098 I liked lot's, and the Multi I loathed. The Hyper is some way in
the middle ground.

The ride position is similar to the Multistreeta, with a lot narrower seat.
It was trailbike width, and hard.
I rode it for 20 minutes, inner city roads, and with a very small fuel tank
capacity, I think 100 kM would have been enough of a range for anybody, the
same of the Multi with it's terrible seat.

The motor is the same in Multistreeta and HyperMaxabike, as the Web page of
Ducati Specifications tells of identical everything in gearing, HP, Torque,
stroke, etc.
The amazing thing for me was the totally different feel between both bikes
in the engine department.
Where the Multi was coughing, vibrating and shaking under 4500 RPM, and was
the main issue with that ride, the Hyper Maxabike was the direct opposite,
silky smooth and had a Japanese good bike feel.
The fuel injection was very Honda like, jerky when on and off the throttle,
but no surging.
Suzuki double butterfly quality it is not, and Ducati needs to spend more
time on this to make it better.

The ride position is very tall in the saddle, with the handle bars close to
the hips. I sat to close to the tank (not by choice), and would have
preferred the seat position further back. This is the trailbike origin
verses the road bike I suppose.
