I got the Big Shot and the Air Box. The decesion to go with Ness was
A) Ness is involved with Victory
B) Availbilty (90% of what the local shop uses)
C) Price

The pipes I got on e-bay it appears they are made for the Victory by Ross's
Pipe Works in North Bend, OR and they are called "Speedsters". My fault I
thought Cobra made "Speedsters: and they had not updated the web site. Well
I have to give the guy a chance they look good in the picture and the
description sound good. So let see what the look and sound like in real
life. I'll find out Fri when the arrive. The shop must sell them then make
them and last but not least ship. It was 5 days after I PAID for them that
the shipped.

I kinda figured they weren't Cobras. However, you're right. They do look
good in the picture. Let us know how they work out for you.

ok I got the pipes and from the way they look to the way they install I'm
going to say they are old or generation 1 ness pipes. my dealer told me
about them and said the coating would not last. so after installing the
pipes new air cleaner 9real pain) and the Big shot (simple). then came the
test riding after 3 tries I think I got it close. I'm totally impressed. I
think I found a place to dyno tune it I'll post the numbers as soon as I get
it done.

Are you going to get the pipes chromed then? I wonder what kind of
coating they have at this point. Ceramic would have been a good choice
by the makers.

Yesterday I put on new front highway bars to replace the battered up
onces the bike came with. The previous owner had wrecked the bike and
I'm slowly but surely (as my finances allow) replacing the bad parts.
Because the upper allen bolts that hold on the bars also attach the
lower frame rails to the upper frame, the job was more involved than I
had expected. Nothing that I was unable to deal with though (knock on wood.)
