Default First snow ride of the season

Shirley a round of drinks.

We got about 6" of the white stuff today while I sat a work. I took a pic
with my phone but it's been giving me grief today so it'll stay on my phone
until I get to work tomorrow. Anyway, the bike started up with no problem
(wasn't terribly cold), and after wiping off some of the snow and letting
the bike warm up I was on my way. Our driveway as work is steep but
fortunatey it was salted by the time I left. The road was a different
story, had I not been careful I could have easy spun the bike in a circle
when I pulled out of the driveway. I avoided the slab and the ride home was
slow going for a bit before the road emptied before me. I had to wipe the
faceshield a fair bit but other than that it was no problem getting home.

My street hadn't been plowed, salted or driven on much by the time I got
there. Again, I took it slow and had no problems but I could have easily
spun the bike around, and for fun I did a little drifting and kept it going
straight up the road with the back off to the right quite a bit. I stopped
and put it into 2WD for the climb up the driveway but that was the only time
I used it (I took a minute to do a couple donuts before heading up the
driveway). All in all a fun ride once I got away from the traffic, the bike
ran great and the heated gloves are working well.

Here where I reside, (Mid NJ) we only had about 1" of pure
fluffy-n-white powdering from the heavens, while I was asleep!

My 'lectric leaf (bike dryer) blower and I , cleared the crap from our
walks in a rather blissful hurry, as I hit it real fast in the
morning... after a cup of my rather infamouse brown water and a cigg.

Of course, I also laid down numerous handfuls of "Safe Salt" afterwords
on the places where people walk, so as to keep everyone from slipping to
their doom, in case the precipitation's changed to icy rain and slippery
gloppiness... and saving my concrete, mortar, and law suits as well!

And yes, my knee was in a VERY bad way again, but my job and
responsibility as a home owner is just that.. my promised job, and my
responsibility!

Funny how my old bones only alert me AFTER, or during the fact... not
before.

When I was still a single man and lived in a small apartment house the guy
down the hall road his Suzuki 750 year round. It was funny seeing him ride
in the snow with his laundry on his tank and both feet on the ground!

I'm enjoying it's company, yes. I posted a shot from last night and one
from this morning across the street. We've been getting a mix of rain and
snow so the snow is getting thick and heavy, but not terribly deep. If it
weren't for the fact that the streets stay pretty clear for most of the
winter I'd be ordering up some new tires. I'm pretty close to needing a new
pusher anyway.

Though possessed of half a wow power leveling dozen hats, it took him some time to find one; then there was wow gold a hunt for the key, which was at last discovered in his pocket; so that the girls wow power leveling were quite out of sight when he leaped the fence and ran after them. Talking Mr. Knightley

Mr. Knightley, a wow gold sensible man about seven or eight-and-thirty, was not only a very old and intimate friend of the family, but particularly wow power leveling connected with it, as the elder brother of Isabella's husband. He wow power leveling lived about a mile from Highbury, was a frequent visitor, and always welcome, and at this time more welcome than usual, as coming directly from their mutual connexions in London. He had returned to a late dinner, after some days' absence, and now walked up to Hartfield to say that all wow power leveling were well in Brunswick Square. It was a happy circumstance, and animated Mr. Woodhouse for some time. Mr. wow power leveling Knightley had a cheerful manner, which always did him good; and his many inquiries after "poor Isabella" and her children were answered most satisfactorily. When this was over, Mr. Woodhouse gratefully observed, "It is very kind of you, Mr. Knightley, to come out at this late hour to call upon us. I am afraid you must have had a shocking walk." weiwei1978123
