A glass held high to the Greatest Generation: \_/* ! ! !

Almost all are gone, now. They weren't looking for a fight. It came
and got them. Stupid Japs thought fat, lazy Americans too soft to
fight. Stupid asshole Adolf Schickelgruber declared war on the U.S.
four days later. One of HIS two stupidest ideas (the other being
Operation Barbarossa) Sealed the fates of both of them. Led to The
American Century.
America hasn't really changed. The days after 9/11 proved that we
still all pull together when the chips are down. Some members of the
loony hippie generation now (temporarily) have control of our media
and education system, is all, and the pantywaists and PC crowd have
tried their damndest to prove that what the Japs mistakenly thought in
1941 is true today, but it's not, leading to the apparent schism in
thought. But it's not a real divide. More like a civil, ongoing
debate. One side is holding up a funhouse mirror, wildly distorting
their influence on the ones who know we're in a fight to the finish
today. (backward "Muslimism" will change. It will have to, because 7th
Century values are nonsense). The distortions revealed every day in
our rapidly developing world are leading the majority to question
everything. It makes most of us nauseous, is all.
Some things, as our forefathers seem to have known instinctively,
are not to be messed with: sexuality (only two sexes, and you live
with the one you were born in) , marriage (two persons: a man and a
woman, raise children), family, right and wrong. Some things just are
black and white. We will eventually come back to that.

Too bad it has to take a 9/11 or Pearl Harbor to bring us together.

Thanks, Chilly, but
Too bad, for if we don't, it's our destruction. God Almighty tolerates
licentiousness (and boy, do we have it in spades) only for a time (see
Genesis chap. 19).
There's freedom, and then there's right and there's wrong. "Let your
conscience be your guide" - Jiminy Cricket.
God bless the U.S.A.
