I'll raise a glass today to all my shipmates, killed or injured on the date
that will live in infamy.

I went to the Arizona Memorial last year......nearly impossible for me to stay
in the room with all the names on the wall for more than a few minutes....WAY
too emotional.

I'll proudly raise a glass. It's sad what we have done with the
opportunity the "Greatest Generation" gave us. Maybe someday, instead
of raising glasses, we can raise our standards to truly honor them.

<clink> To my uncle SSGT "Corny" Black USMC

Sadly too many people today have no idea of what Pearl Harbor is and/or what
it was all about.......

Not to demean those that served our great country, and/or those that
were lost defending it, but, what was it all about?

In your own words, please.
