Default Need your help - riding leathers recommendations

My son rides a ZX6 and wants a set of 2 piece leathers - plain black -
for Christmas. He's mentioned Joe Rocket, but the cheapest ones go for
nearly $600 and I know he wouldn't be happy with just 1 gift under the
tree.

He says the leathers have to be brand name. Second tier brands like
First Choice (or whatever it is) are not good enough.

He wants them for warmer winter riding *and* possible track use.

I don't know squat about riding leathers and which names are 1st/2nd
tier and which aren't.

I've looked on eBAY and found Rhino 2-piece (not pure black
unfortunately) for $400...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rhino...spagenameZWDVW

But I don't know if Rhino is considered 2nd tier (which he doesn't
want)

He's 5'11", 225-235lbs. I don't even know what size he'd take.

Ideas, brands, plausible sizes, and links are most welcome.

Thanks,
Greg

Lets see.... Wrap the jacket and pants separately? Then there'd be two
gifts.
Um, six gift cards wrapped separately?
How much do you want to spend and give him the cash?
Find something you want for twice the amount that he's requesting and, if he
gets it for you, return it and use the money to buy what he wants.
Hope this helps???

your son.

I only make jackets on order and don't stock. I use really high
quality leathers on jackets, gloves and pants. I also make leather
fashion jackets, gloves and working gloves. If you or anybody is
